Dementia Friendly Film: Modern Times These Dementia Friendly classic films are a fun and relaxed way to enjoy the magic of cinema specially adapted to welcome people living with dementia, their families and carers in a safe and friendly environment. Join us for a Dementia Friendly screening of Modern Time, a 1936 American comedy film written and directed by Charlie Chaplin in which his iconic Little Tramp character struggles to survive in the modern, industrialized world. We will maintain a low level of lighting throughout the screening and can adjust the volume on the film, to suit the needs of the audience. Visitors will be supported by Dementia Friends trained staff. There will be an interval half way through the film for tea, coffee and biscuits to be served. This is included in the ticket price.
