Three young choreographers. Three new short works. One unmissable experience.

Award-winning choreographer Kenneth Tindall marks his hotly-anticipated return to the Company after the smouldering success of 2017's Casanova. Now she presents her first work for Northern Ballet with The Kingdom of Back, exploring the story of the exceptionally talented Nannerl Mozart growing up in the shadow of her younger brother on his journey to immortality.

An emerging choreographer from within Northern Ballet's Company of dancers, First Soloist Mlindi Kulashe makes his choreographic debut with Mamela...Meaning 'listen' in his native language Xhosa, Mamela...is a haunting exploration of the conflict between the desires of the head and the heart and the impact of society's influence over an individual.
