ALL EYES ON CULTURE - DONCOPOLITAN CRAWL

Our friends and Associate Artists Doncopolitan are hosting an alternative evening event, Doncopolitan Crawl, on Tuesday 23 July from 5pm. 

In partnership with DMBC, Cast, Frenchgate, The Point, local businesses and Arts Council England, it promises to be a free night out for locals, celebrating the many creative people that called Doncaster their home,  and their incredible work.

ART AT THE DELI & MAMMA WHEATLEY'S YARN BOMB: SCICLUNA'S

An exhibition of artwork by Penny Cawley and a huge art bomb featuring hand knitted and crocheted items from Mamma Wheatley's and music from Laura Kelly.

'NEW BEGINNINGS': C-VIEW

A mixed media visual art show featuring the work of BA Fine Art and Craft students and lecturers from Doncaster College.

'ON EARTH TO MAKE THE NUMBERS UP' PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION: DONCOPOLITAN STUDIOS

Based on the book by Doncaster writer Evelyn Haythorne (1987), the exhibit looks at Doncaster in the 40s & 50s from Barnsley based photographer, Broth Tarn & nationally acclaimed photographer Jim Mortram. 

BROXHOLME LANE BLOCK PARTY

SPZero76 will be painting on Broxholme Lane as part of a Block Party with other phenomenal creative pioneers such as Five Five and Breaking Beats.

CARA MCHUGH: THE JAM HORSE, SCOT LANE

Emerging visual artist and illustrator Cara mcHugh showcases her comical horse themed illustration for the first time, plus Madame Zucchini will be on site to provide child friendly activities. 

KATY CARR & HELEN C. STARK: DREAM BAKES, PRIORY WALK

London based folk musician and singer songwriter Katy Carr performs in Doncaster due to our strong Eastern European community and her dual Polish/English heritage. Helen C. Stark is an extremely talent illustrator specialising in brush calligraphy, and she will be running a drop in workshop whilst the fabulous Pinch and Pull will be outside serving delicious food.

'SILENT STYLE': FRET BY FRET

Make-up artist Rebecca Gathercole has designed a make-up look inspired by the art and drawings of Imogen Carline. Instagram Influencer and model Lindsay Marie McGlone, along with photographer Shane Peagram are collaborating with Rebecca to create a photographic series on display. Plus live blues music from Frank Carline and Al and The Geriatrics.

'THE GERANIUM PROJECT': 13 SCOTT LANE

Visual artist Ian Latham showcases his mixed media installation. Recent MA student graduates Andrea Berry, Lisa Goodwin and Amie Frost will also showcase their work.

WONKY PLANET TAKE OVER FEATURING FLUID/ITY: CAST

If you are making edgy, experimental work in Doncaster, Wonky Planet is the place to collaborate and share what you do.

NIGHTLIFE MUSEUM

A collaboration with Doncaster Museum, bringing elements of club culture into the museum. From 8pm, you'll be able to grab a drink at the pop-up bar, listen to house music from Vision, and see a special performance from Cast's Associate Artist Ryan Harsten/ Urban Conceptz and Melt Trip.
