Share Christmas Joy

Every Christmas, thousands of children and families create cherished memories at Cast. But for many living in poverty across Doncaster, a trips to the theatre is out of reach. Through our Christmas Pantomime Appeal, we work with local partners, council members, and community supporters to fund tickets for families who need them most.

Families and adults sit in rows in a dim auditorium, watching an unseen event; several smile, including a young boy in a green christmas sweater.

"We would love to attend again if we’re lucky enough to get funded tickets. My adopted children all have additional needs, meaning I can’t work. Therefore, as a single parent family a Christmas pantomime is out of my price range. However, it was lovely to see all 4 of my children enjoying it from ages 3 to 16 years old. It’s very rare we do something that everyone enjoys, so thank you!"

The Impact Last Year

Thanks to the support of local ward councillors and community partners, last year’s appeal raised £4,000, allowing over 260 children, young people, and families across Doncaster to attend our pantomime.

  • Children’s Social Care & Early Help Teams
