Jobs Cast Youth Board
Job Description
The Cast Youth Board is a group of 6 young people aged 11–18 (or up to 26 if you have a special educational need or disability). As a board member, you’ll help shape what happens at Cast, share your ideas, and make sure young people’s voices are heard. You’ll be supported by the Participation and Producing teams throughout the year.
Board membership lasts one year, and new members are chosen through a short application and a creative, friendly interview.
We want young people who are:
- Aged 11–18 (or up to 26 with Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities)
- Be these ages between 1 May 2026 and 20 July 2027
- Living in or connected to Doncaster
- Interested in the arts, creativity, or local culture
- Keen to get involved, learn new things, and make a difference
- Able to attend Board Meetings at Cast on the key dates outlined in the recruitment pack
