Cast's Marketing team develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for the theatre. This includes online and print publicity, email campaigns, media communications and targeted campaigns aimed at a specific segment of the public.

Short Placements - 6 weeks

  • 1 day (10am to 4pm) per week for a period of 6 weeks.
  • Placements are available to ages 16+, studying a similar subject, but not restricted to those in education. 
  • The placement will involve gaining a holistic view of the Marketing and Communication department and the roles within it, this will most likely going through the process of particular campaign.

Long Placements - 4 Months

  • The development of Higher Education and Further Education placements, for people wanting a deeper understanding of Arts Marketing, and are serious about this as a career path.
  • These placements will be 1 day (10am to 4pm) per week for 4 months, and up to 2 placements will be offered per year.
  • The role would suit a new graduate from an Arts or Marketing course or a more experienced marketer who is looking to gain experience in a new field.

Volunteers - On Going

  • The role of Marketing volunteer will be to assist the staff in promoting Cast's events, adult workshops and children’s activities.
  • The volunteers could also be attend events and workshops with a view to reporting on them.
  • Cast is especially looking for volunteers to distribute brochures and marketing material throughout the town.
