What a Week!

A Big Thanks to Our Work Experience Stars!

During our Spring work experience week, we had the pleasure of welcoming six bright young people, eager to see what goes on behind the scenes at a busy arts venue like ours.

They jumped into a range of activities, from experiencing the ever-changing world of Marketing, all the creative magic that brings the shows to life with our Tech teams, and supporting our café bar and ushering during the very busy Rude Science family shows. They also learned more about our incredible Youth Theatre  - what an exciting way to wrap up the week!

It’s been wonderful watching them take on new challenges and see the full scope of what goes into running a busy theatre. Our participants have loved every moment of the week, with many telling us they had no idea just how much goes on behind the scenes to make a theatre run!

A huge thank you to Annabel Weeden for organising this programme and to our teams for sharing their expertise and making this experience unforgettable.

As a charity, we’re proud to offer these free programmes to help shape the next generation of talent in the arts, hospitality, and beyond. We can’t wait to see where their journeys take them next.

Just £5 can help a young person take their first step towards a creative future. Be part of their journey.
