Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a theatre? At Cast, you can go backstage and see it all for yourself!

Our backstage tours are a brilliant way for young people to discover how a theatre works. You'll get to go onstage and behind the scenes, seeing things from a whole new perspective.

We have several options available:

  • Explore: Tour Only - £6pp
    A one-hour guided tour of the theatre.
  • Discover: Tour and Workshop/Talk - £12pp
    A two-and-a-half-hour experience including a one-hour tour plus a workshop.
  • Delve: Tour, Talk and Workshop - £18pp
    A four-hour experience including a one-hour tour plus two workshops or a workshop and a talk. Potential talk options, all subject to availability:
    • A behind-the-scenes look at how we promote shows with our Marketing team
    • Insight into how we raise vital funds to support our work with our Fundraising team
    • An introduction to Technical Theatre
    • Programming and Producing: how we choose our shows
    • Careers in the Arts: different routes into the industry
    • Front of House and Audience Experience: what makes a great visit
