Celebrating Another Extraordinary Year at Cast Youth Theatre!
We are so proud to celebrate another incredible year of creativity, friendship, and performance across our thriving Cast Youth Theatre!
Over the past 12 months, 170 young members came together across 11 weekly sessions to find their voice, build lasting confidence, and shine on stage.
Creative Opportunities for Everyone
Welcoming everyone is at the heart of what we do. We believe every young person in Doncaster deserves access to high-quality creative opportunities, regardless of their financial situation.
Thanks to our wonderful supporters, cost is never a barrier to joining the Cast family. This year, funding and community support enabled us to provide free bursary or reduced-cost places to 35% of all Youth Theatre members.
Real Impact Beyond the Stage
The magic of our weekly sessions goes far beyond acting skills, it builds confidence that lasts a lifetime.

This life-changing work happens thanks to our generous funding partners, local businesses, charitable trusts and donors. Long-term support from One Call Insurance drives our session expansion, staffing, and subsidised places. Coupled with Christmas fundraising at Lakeside Village Shopping Centre's Santa’s Grotto and vital grants from John Thaw Foundation, Victoria Wood Foundation, Boris Karloff Foundation, Tesco Stronger Starts, National Theatre Speak Up Legacy Funding along with our individual donors, this shared commitment helps local young people thrive.

What’s Next?
The excitement is only growing! In 2027, we will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Cast Youth Theatre. To mark a decade of supporting local young people, we’ll be hosting a landmark anniversary show alongside a full calendar of celebratory events.
Plus, thanks to funding from the Tween Bridge Community Benefit Fund, we are expanding! We will be launching two brand-new Youth Theatre groups in Thorne to bring regular, high-quality drama activities directly to local families.
