Original Calendar Girl supports local cast of Calendar Girls the Musical

One of the original Calendar Girls, Tricia Stewart, is coming to support the Doncaster cast of Calendar Girls the Musical, on Saturday 23 September and will be signing her latest book between performances.

This September marks 20 years since the release of Calendar Girls. Tricia Stewart is the person who inspired the famous calendar, by suggesting her local WI group created an alternative, risqué calendar to raise money for blood cancer charities.

Tricia is excited to be coming to support Doncaster Stage Productions production of Calendar Girls the Musical, which will be performed during the film’s anniversary month of September 2023. She will be meeting with the cast of the show, and will join them on stage for their final curtain call on Saturday night.

She will be doing a book signing on Saturday with her own Calendar Girls book, which she has written for her grandchildren, to let them know “what their granny got up to!”. Tricia will be at Cast to sign her latest publication in between the matinee and evening show on the 23rd September 2023. Tickets for Calendar Girls the Musical are on sale now from the box office.
